About

Hi, I’m Stephanie Lane

Creator of Simply Tidy Home, a calming, no-judgment zone for anyone who’s ever looked around their house and thought, “Why can’t I just keep it together?”

If managing your home feels overwhelming, especially with ADHD, you’re not alone. And you’re definitely not broken.

Simply Tidy Was Built for Brains Like Ours

I started this blog after years of battling with traditional routines that didn’t fit the way my mind works. The problem wasn’t my effort. It was the systems. Once I stopped trying to force myself into neurotypical methods and started creating routines built around my ADHD brain, things finally began to click.

Now, I’m here to help you do the same with strategies that are gentle, flexible, and actually doable.

What You’ll Find Here

At Simply Tidy Home, I share:

  • Realistic cleaning routines that don’t expect perfection
  • Decluttering tips that work even when motivation is low
  • Simple systems that reduce decision fatigue and mental clutter
  • Encouragement for tough days and strategies for good ones

You won’t find color-coded binders or pressure to be “Pinterest perfect.” Just practical help and honest connection from someone who gets it.

This Blog Is For You If…

  • You’re tired of routines that fall apart within a week
  • You feel behind before the day even starts
  • You want a peaceful home, but not at the cost of your sanity
  • You need support that fits your brain and lifestyle

Whether you’re diagnosed with ADHD or just know that traditional systems don’t work for you, this space was made with you in mind.

Let’s Redefine “Tidy”

For me, tidy doesn’t mean perfect. It means peaceful. It means manageable. It means a home that helps you breathe a little easier, even on the hard days.

Thanks for being here. I hope you find comfort, tools, and maybe even a little relief in these pages.
